創作於2013年，《不會來了》以中國當代詩人的詞《小魚》為題材，以第三人身角度感嘆水洼中的小魚，如何錯過一個美好的機會。顧城的詞－「亂礁中　有一片水洼　游著一條小魚　吞著細微的水泡　等待潮汐　　不會來了　過去只能回憶　如果它微微跳起　就能看見　剛合攏的海堤」－充滿著豐富的畫面及感情變化。尤其是第二節的第一句「不會來了」，把看似童話故事般的第一節完全摧毀，語調忽然變得像花白老人，慨嘆年輕時虛度光陰的感覺。

本曲由香港兒童合唱團作世界首演。

Composed in 2013, “That It Will Never Come Again” adopts Chinese poet Gu Cheng’s poem, “Little Fish,” into the work. There is a great emotional and scenery change in the poem, which dramatically modulates from a peaceful description of a little fish, to a mournful grief by the poet.

This work was world premiered by the Hong Kong Children’s Choir.
