Commissioned by Hong Kong Schools Music and Speech Association香港學校音樂及朗誦協會委約作品 《點與線》是一首關於欣賞藝術的作品。樂曲靈感來自多位二十世紀藝術家的創作理念與風格，包括美國藝術家 Barnett Newman 以標誌性的「Zip」垂直線探索空間與存在感；俄羅斯藝術家 Kazimir Malevich 將幾何形狀從描繪世界的工具轉化為藝術本身；John Cage 透過隨機性創作，嘗試淡化藝術家的主觀偏好；Agnes Martin 以手繪鉛筆線構成看似印刷般精準、卻充滿人性溫度的畫面；以及 Wassily Kandinsky 將色彩、線條與形狀視為視覺上的音符，藉此傳達情感與精神世界。 作品透過音樂回應這些藝術家的創作思想，探索點、線、形狀、留白與色彩所蘊含的表現力。整首樂曲希望透過欣賞不同的畫作，了解藝術如何以看似簡單的點、線與形狀，承載豐富的情感與意義。 The piece draws inspiration from the artistic ideas and styles of several twentieth-century artists: American artist Barnett Newman, who used his signature vertical “zips” to explore space and a sense of…
