Programme Notes

Every city has its own soundscape, and Hong Kong is no exception. “City”, written for saxophone and symphonic band, is a portrait of the place I belong to. This work is a melange of excitement, peace, sorrow, joy, and perhaps a bit of dirtiness. “City” is written for and dedicated to saxophonist Timothy Sun, commissioned by Citywinds Ensemble with sponsorship from CASH music fund.
